This is a platinum F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time with incredibly rare salmon dial. This chronometer has resonance controlled twin independent movements with two escapements working together, a radical design that took twenty years of research. It has a solid two-body, polished case with a transparent back secured with 6 screws. The side and top crowns are engine-turned in "cordes de Marseille" texturing; the crown at 12 o'clock winds both movements, independently setting the hours and minutes of each twin subsidiary guilloche silver dial. The crown at 4 o'clock synchronizes both seconds hands. The dials have printed Arabic numbers for hours and minutes, with two independent oscillators. A combined power reserve with an indicator energizes both time zone displays; a subsidiary seconds sub-dial has zero reset. There is a railway minute outer track and blued steel hands. The 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time has a mechanical in-house produced manual winding caliber 1499.2 movement. It's rose gold with two escapements that influence and stabilize each other allowing for the two independent time zones. When the two balances are operating, they enter into sympathy due to the effect of the resonance against each other. It's constructed with circular graining on the base-plate, and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It includes polished and beveled screw heads with chamfered slots, polished pegs, 36 jewels, 299 components, and a shock absorber system. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The F.P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Dual Time was introduced in 2002 and won the Watch of the Year jury award in Japan in 2003; it received the grand complication prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve in 2010.
