It includes a signed screw down winding crown with crown guards, and a screw down solid case back engraved with a center medallion in high relief with "Grand Seiko," and the Lion emblem, hallmarks and serial numbers. The 40 mm diameter barrel-shaped two-body solid Zaratsu-polished stainless steel case, curved lugs, bracelet, and knurled rotating unidirectional blue bezel are polished/brushed. The bezel has a luminous white Arabic numeral GMT 24-hour scale with a dive triangle at the 24-hour position with a luminous pip. The dial is blue with applied luminous SuperLumiNova dart and baton hour markers surrounded by a luminous white minute/second scale. It includes polished steel Dauphine sword hands with luminous inserts, a red GMT indicator hand with a luminous arrow tip, a polished stainless steel center sweep second hand with a wedge-shaped counterbalance, and there is a date aperture window between 3 and 4 o'clock. It includes a fan-shaped grey power reserve indicator with a polished hand at 8 o'clock with a steel indicator hand. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 200 meters/650 feet, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Grand Seiko Sport Collection Spring Drive GMT SBGE255 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Grand Seiko caliber 9R65 Spring Drive movement that's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It has an electromagnetic Tri-synchro Regulator escapement system with a sliding wheel. It's anti-magnetic to 4800 A/m, it's constructed with 30 jewels, an anti-shock system, and its mainspring power source drives the gears and hence the connected rotor, generating an electrical charge driving an electronic circuit and quartz oscillator, with outstanding accuracy for a watch wound by a mainspring.
