This is a stainless-steel IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371617. It includes a solid stainless-steel case on a new integral stainless-steel bracelet with a double folding deployment buckle, and non-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed screw-down winding crown, "mushroom" style chronograph push buttons, and a sapphire crystal exhibition case back secured with 4 screws, engraved with "INTL. WATCH CO. – IWC PORTUGIESER – CHRONOGRAPH – 3 BAR," and a serial number. The 41mm diameter round solid three-body case, integral bracelet, curved hooded lugs, and thin convex bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with applied blued steel Arabic numeral hour markers around an outer pip minute/second scale. There are feuille leaf blued hour and minute hands, a blued center sweep second hand, and around the white perimeter flange is a black 60-minute/second chapter ring. It includes twin silver recessed subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and blued lancine stiletto indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Chronograph IW371617 has a new in-house automatic IWC caliber 69355 column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage embellishment, and it's constructed with 194 components, 27 jewels, an anti-shock system, a monometallic balance that's adjusted for 5 positions, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
