This is a Titanium IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Volvo Ocean Race Edition IW390212. It has a black rubber strap with a titanium deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screwed-down exhibition sapphire crystal case back and protected winding crown, and round pushbuttons for the Fly back chronograph. The Fly back function allows instant restarting of the chronograph with a single push of the button instead of the need to stop, reset & then restart the stopwatch. The 45.4mm diameter solid three-body case, overhanging rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are brushed. The black carbon fiber dial has applied silver Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous square index markers, an outer minute track, an outermost 1/5 second track with Arabic numerals every five minutes, luminous feuille hands, and a center red chronograph hand. There is a 12-hour subsidiary dial at the 12 o'clock position, a constant seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and a date aperture window at 3. The sub dial at the 12 o'clock position performs as both the chronograph 60-minute counter (the longer hand points to the outer ring), and the 12-hour counter where the short hand points to markings on the inner ring. It's water resistant to 60 meters/180 feet, and it has a 68-hour power reserve. The 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding IWC caliber 89361 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 38 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism. The rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
