This is a stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Duoface, Q38484AF. The solid, five-body case, angled lugs, and reeded bezels are polished, with sapphire crystals. The alligator strap has a matching stainless steel deployant buckle. The Front dial is silvered guilloche with black transferred Arabic numeral hour markers, and black baton hands. A small seconds subsidiary dial is at 6 o'clock. The reverso dial is green marble with luminescent transferred numerals, thin baton hour index markers, eventail hands, a subsidiary second time zone dial, and a night/day indicator at six o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters and there is a 45-hour power reserve. The manual winding JLC calibre 854/1 movement has copper-colored, fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, 180 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at 21,600 vph, and the case, dials, and movement are all signed. In 1931 Jaeger-LeCoultre's Cesar de Trey and French designer Renee-Alfred Chauvot designed the innovative Art Deco style Reverso watch for polo players to withstand the abuse of their active sport. The Duoface debuted in 1994, the radical concept being the reading of a second time zone on the back face of the reversible watch.
