This is an 18k rose gold Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Blue Dial PIECE UNIQUE 28ISO+. It includes a black alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating. It has a signed pull out winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws engraved with "VOUTILAINEN – UNIQUE PIECE – 28ISO," hallmarks and a serial number. The 39mm diameter round solid 2-body case, teardrop lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. The dial is blue with with three separate hand-tuned guilloche patterns including a crosshatched center, a hobnail reserve for the applied white gold Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and baton hour indices. The round gold-ringed constant running seconds subsidiary dial has a spiral wave guilloche center with a rose gold "observatory" style indicator hand. There are rose gold observatory hour and minute hands with blued indicator rings, and there is a brushed perimeter raised tier rotating chapter ring with white minute/second divisions and Arabic numerals every five minutes to 60 that keeps the hour and minute hands in line. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 55-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Blue Dial PIECE UNIQUE 28ISO+ has a mechanical automatic self-winding Voutilainen caliber 28 double wheel direct impulse escapement movement originally created by Breguet. It's hand finished ruthenium and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, a Breguet overcoil, and a free-sprung self-compensating balance. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). The Kari Voutilainen Vingt-8 Blue Dial PIECE UNIQUE 28ISO+ was released in 2017 and was selected for the Geneva Grand Prix d'Horlogerie (GPHG).
