This is a vintage c. 1969 stainless steel Omega Seamaster 300, reference 166.024. It has a stainless steel Omega 1171 bracelet with a foldover clasp, and an acrylic crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with "Certified High Pressure Waterproof," and the Seamaster emblem; inside the back are the Omega hallmarks and reference number. The 41mm diameter three-body solid case, integral lapidated lugs, bracelet, and revolving graduated bezel with tritium Arabic numeral decompression times are polished. Matte black dial with tritium baton and trapezoidal hour markers, Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, a minute/second scale, sword/baton hands, and a centered sweep second hand with an arrow tip. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. The 12.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The mechanical automatic self-winding Omega caliber 565 movement is copper-colored. It's constructed with 24 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber device. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, and a micrometer regulator.

This Omega Seamaster 300, reference 166.024, was introduced in 1966, and was the 5th iteration of the 300 line and the first to feature a date.
