This is a stainless-steel Panerai Luminor Marina Automatic PAM104. It has a leather strap with a matching stainless-steel double-deployant buckle, an additional rubber dive strap, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It has a solid screwed down case back. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, pillow-shaped bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. The dial is black with luminous steel Arabic numeral and baton hour indexes. There is a subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o'clock, a protected crown with the patented Panerai security lever for underwater winding, and a date aperture at 3 o'clock underneath a Cyclops magnifying bubble. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, and it has a power reserve of 42 hours. The 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Luminor Marina Automatic PAM104 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP III movement that's rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix, distinctive Panerai decoration, and Côtes de Genève embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, an Incabloc® shock absorber mechanism, and a Glucydur® monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring and a micrometer regulator. It includes a personalized oscillating weight; the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Officine Panerai introduced their Luminor watches in 1950, replacing their Radiomir line. The Panerai special austenitic stainless steel, low carbon alloy AISI 316L is hypoallergenic and highly resistant to corrosion. Like it's Italian Naval Panerai watch predecessors, it does extremely well in extreme environmental conditions, the choice of commandos.
