This is an 18K rose gold Patek Philippe Split Second Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5204R-001. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployment buckle with a calatrava medallion clasp, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It includes round chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown with a split second pusher, and there is a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back with an additional solid case protector. There are two correctors between the top lugs, one on the bottom, and a fourth is on the left-side case band, for the day, month, date, and moon phase functions. The 40.2mm solid three-body case, fluted and curved lugs, and concave bezel, are polished. The dial is silver opaline with applied luminous faceted gold baton hour markers around a railway-style minute/second scale to 60 with black Arabic numerals every 5 seconds, and there is a perimeter minute/one-fifth second scale. It has gold leaf hands with luminous inserts, and there is a gold center sweep chronograph seconds hand with an ovoid counterbalance. It includes twin white day and month aperture windows underneath the 12 o'clock position, and twin circular day/night and leap year windows are between 7 and 8 o'clock, and 4 and 5 o'clock. There are three silver subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and gold indicator hands, including a running small seconds indicator at 9 o'clock, a radial date/moon phase at 6 o'clock, and there is an instantaneous 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 3 o'clock. It water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 65-hour power reserve at full winding. The 14.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and the Patek Philippe seal. It's constructed with 34 jewels, 12 bridges, 496 components, a shock absorber mechanism, and a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism, and 6 positions. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).

The Patek Philippe 5204R-001 was introduced at BaselWorld in 2012. If wound daily, the calendar won't require adjustment until February 28, 2100.
