More about Vintage Turn-O-Graph Radium SS Jubilee NICE c. 1953

This is a vintage 1953 stainless steel Rolex Turn-O-Graph 6202. It has an integral stainless steel Rivet Oyster bracelet, and a domed acrylic crystal. There is a screw-down winding crown and a solid screw-down case back. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, bracelet, and bidirectional revolving graduated black 60-minute bezel with red arrow showing the zero point are polished/brushed. It has the original black dial with perimeter gilt minute/seconds chapter ring, gilt dot, baton, and triangular hour markers with radium lume, original gilt "Mercedes" hands with luminous inserts, and enter sweep "lollipop" second hand. The 13.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Turn-O-Graph 6202 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber A296 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with 19 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a shock absorber device, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. The Rolex Turn-O-Graph 6202 was originally introduced in 1953 at Basel World. It was their very first watch to use a rotary chronometer bezel.
