This is a stainless-steel Ulysse Nardin Marine Flying Tourbillon 1283-181/E3. It includes a solid stainless-steel case on an alligator leather strap with a matching folding deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a blue rubber collar on the screw down signed winding crown with protectors and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws and it's engraved with "ULYSSE NARDIN - 100 METERS – 1283-181." The 43mm diameter solid two-body round case, curved screwed hooded lugs, and coin-edged stepped bezel, are polished. There is a screwed serial number plate on the left-side case band and it has a "grand feu" blue enamel wave guilloche dial with applied silver luminous Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by a white railway-style perimeter minute/hour scale with luminous triangular hour indices. It includes fancy "cathedral" style hour and minute hands with luminous inserts and a large circular tourbillon showing the escapement and the gear train is at the 6 o'clock position. There is a circular power reserve subsidiary dial at 12 o'clock with a polished steel indicator hand and a red warning sector. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a 60-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin Marine Flying Tourbillon 1283-181/E3 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ulysse Nardin caliber UN-128 (base UN-118) movement. It has perlage finishing on the bridges and it's constructed with 36 jewels, 208 components, an anti-shock system, a monometallic balance, and the escapement wheel, balance spring, and anchor are all Silicium. It includes a flying tourbillon with a Ulysse Nardin Anchor Escapement, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). The Ulysse Nardin Marine Flying Tourbillon 1283-181/E3 was released in the 2000's.
