This is an 18K yellow gold Universal Geneve Chronograph. It has a Shell Cordovan leather strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a domed crystal. The 34mm diameter solid three-body case, angled stepped bezel, downturned lugs, and Snap-on case back are polished. The extremely rare rejuvenated dial is two-tone silver with painted black Arabic numeral hour markers on a darker plain reserve. It has rectangular chronograph pushbuttons and blued dauphine hands and a center chronograph hand. There is a small constant seconds subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute register sub dial at 3 o'clock. There is an inner tachymeter scale with graduations to 1000 UPH, an outer telemeter indicator, including a 1/5 second ring with Arabic numerals every five minues, and a pulsometer in the center area. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Universe Geneve caliber 285 movement is rhodium-plated and constructed with 17 jewels. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator.
