It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K white gold Vacheron tang buckle with the distinctive Maltese cross shape, the logo of the company. There is a scratch resistant "bombe" sapphire crystal, a domed winding crown, and the solid case back secured with 8 screws is engraved with, "Vacheron Constantin - 1912," and serial numbers. The 30mm by 36mm curved tonneau-shaped solid two-body case, downturned hinged mobile lugs with screwed bars, and the rounded art deco bezel are polished. The dial is matte silver with tumbling black Beguet-style Arabic numeral hour markers, and feuille blued hands. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Vacheron & Constantin Les Historiques 1912 37001/000R-8636 has a mechanical manual winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber1132 movement. It's rhodium-plated with fausses côtes embellishment, and it's constructed with 20 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement.
