This is a Ball Trainmaster Moonlight Special Black CM1036D-L1J-BK. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a double deployment hidden butterfly clasp, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-glare coatings. It has a screw-down winding crown, round "push-rod" chronograph buttons, and a corrector on the left-side case band for the date at 10 o'clock. There is an exhibition sapphire dislay case back secured with 5 screws, and engraved on the polished perimeter is "BALL WATCH CO. - 50 METERS – SAPPHIRE – SWISS MADE," and a serial number. It has a a black dial with 15 micro gas light (3H) tubes on the dial, hour, minute, and second hands for night reading. It includes applied faceted steel baton hour indices with tritium inserts, baton needle-tipped spade steel hands with tritium inserts, a center sweep steel second hand with a counter balance and a rectangular tritium indicator with red crescent at the tip, and a luminous radial minute/one-fifth second scale. There is a silver perimeter radial date track, and it has recessed silver guilloche steel-rimmed subdials, including a 30-minute totalizer with twin rectangular aperture windows for the day and month, a combination 12-hour register and moon phase dial at 6 o'clock, and a 24- GMT second time zone indicator at 9 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a power reserve of 48-hours at full wind. The 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ball Trainmaster Moonlight Special Black CM1036D-L1J-BK has a mechanical automatic self-winding Ball RR1406 (base ETA/Valjoux 7751) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It's Shock resistant to 5,000 g's, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Ball Trainmaster Moonlight Special Black CM1036D-L1J-BK was first introduced in 2008, in a limited edition to 999 pieces.
