More about Glashutte Original Reference No. 90-01-02-02-04

This is a stainless steel Glashutte Original PanoMatic Date, 90-01-02-02-04. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The solid 39.3mm diameter three-body case, curved bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. It has a sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws. The offset dial is silver with black hands and applied white gold baton hour index markers. There is a subsidiary small seconds dial at the 7 o'clock position, and a big date indicator window at 4 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, with a power reserve of 42 hours at full wind. The 11.9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The automatic self-winding Glashutte caliber 90-01 movement is rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment and a striped/ribbed finish, with some hand engraved designs and beveled component edges. It's constructed with 41 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a three-quarter sized rotor recessed into the movement, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, a double swan-neck micrometer regulator, and a hand-engraved balance bridge. There is an offset 21K gold rotor sector, and a hacking seconds mechanism. The movement oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
