This is a very rare 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5060SJ-001. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold double buckle unique to this watch, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has an exhibition sapphire display, screwed-down case back and protected screwed-down winding crown. The 34mm by 36mm carré galbé (square shaped) two-body solid case, downturned lugs, and flat bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is black with applied 18k gold Roman numeral hour markers with luminous tritium inserts, tritium leaf hands with a gold center sweep second hand, and a perimeter railway-style minute/seconds scale. There is a square date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 8.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5060SJ-001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 330 SC movement. It's stamped with the Patek Philippe quality seal. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 30 jewels, 6 bridges, 213 components, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, and a self-compensating free-sprung Spiromax balance spring. The 21k gold rotor has cotes de Geneve finishing, and the Calatrava logo. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vh (4 Hz). The Patek Philippe 5060 Aquanaut, 5060SJ-001 debuted in 1997.
