The solid 40.5mm diameter three-body case, angled bezel and curved lugs are polished/ brushed. A rectangular pushbutton on the left-side case band at 10 o'clock adjusts the date, a sapphire case back secured with four screws. The dial is black with two large off center registers, including the time dial between 1 and 3 o'clock, with applied white gold Arabic quarter numerals and painted white baton indexes. The subsidiary seconds foudroyante meter is at the 6 o'clock position; it completes one full revolution per second, and it's divided into a number of jumps (sections). This is a new "jumping stop second" function that allows the chronograph to measure 1/6 of a second for setting the time. There are 50-hour twin power reserve indicators bracing the foudroyante. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
