This is a ceramic IWC TOP GUN Woodland Edition Chronograph IW389106. It includes an “oyster” shaped ceramic case with a titanium case back on a green rubber and textile strap with a ceramic tang IWC buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has an oversized pull-out signed winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and a solid titanium screw-down case back engraved with “INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. – PILOT’S WATCH – 6 BAR,” a serial number, and the circular medallion in the center reads “TOP GUN – UNITED STATES NAVY – FIGHTER WEAPONS SCHOOL,” with the Top Gun insignia. The 44.5mm round three-body ceramic case, curved lugs, and angled flat round bezel, are satin. It includes a forest green dial with luminous white Arabic numerals, an aviator triangle at 12 o’clock, and rectangular hour indices around a perimeter white minute/second scale. It has luminous white “Spitfire” type hour and minute hands, a needle-shaped center sweep second hand, and there are three recessed green subsidiary dials with concentric circle guilloche, white Arabic numerals, markers, and white small Spitfire indicator hands, including a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute chronograph register at 12 o’clock, and a small constant running seconds dial is at the 6 o’clock position. There are rectangular day and date aperture windows at 3 o’clock. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full winding, it’s water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet, and the 15.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC TOP GUN Woodland Edition Chronograph IW389106 has a mechanical automatic in-house IWC caliber 69380 column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage embellishment. It's constructed with 33 jewels, 231 components, a shock absorber system, and a small hacking seconds function for precision time setting. There is an anti-magnetic soft iron case, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). This watch was introduced in 2022.
