This is an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Gondolo 5111J. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The case is a curved, tonneau-shaped, art deco rectangle with basket-weave corners. It has a white dial with an engine-turned guilloche center, gold feuille hands, and applied faceted yellow gold dart hour markers, with an Arabic numeral at 12. There is a recessed subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The 30mm by 42.5mm (with lugs) two-body solid case, straight lugs, and angled flat bezel are polished and brushed. It's water resistant to 25 meters/85 feet, and it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Gondolo 5111J has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 215 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 130 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark as well as the Patek Philippe seal. It has a shock absorber device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the patented Patek Philippe Gyromax balance that compensates for cold, heat, isochronism, and 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Patek Philippe Gondolo 5111J was introduced in 2004 and it was produced until 2007. The Gondolo line - launched in 1993 - was named from the “Chronometro Gondolo” watches that Patek made from 1902 to 1930 for Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau.
