This is a vintage c. 1956 18K white gold Patek Philippe Calatrava, 2593. It has an alligator strap with a matching 18k white gold buckle, a glass crystal, and the original Patek Philippe signed crown. The 32mm diameter solid two-body case, rounded bezel, lapidated downturned lugs, and Snap-on solid case back are polished. In overall excellent condition, the dial is silver with gold applied stick/baton hour index markers, and gold baton hands. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 23-300 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes the patented Patek Philippe Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, and a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring.
