More about 5035P

This is a platinum Patek Philippe Annual Calendar, 5035P. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum tang buckle, a scratch resistant domed sapphire crystal, and an exhibition sapphire display case back. The 37mm diameter solid two-body case, rounded bezel, downturned lugs, band correctors, and case back are polished. It has a blak dial with applied luminous platinum Roman numeral hour markers, luminous feuille hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and a railway-style minute outer track. There is a subsidiary day marker at 9 o’clock, a month sub dial at the three o’clock position, and a 24-hour register at 6 o'clock, with the date aperture window below it. It's water resistant to 25 meters/ 80 feet, and it has a power reserve of 48 hours at full wind. The 10.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 315 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Geneva quality mark. It's constructed with 35 jewels, 316 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and the patented Patek Philippe monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions. It includes a shock absorber mechanism, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor, that oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). Patek debuted this once discontinued annual calendar watch in the 1990's.
