More about 2585 QP YG

This is an 18K yellow gold Blancpain Leman Chronograph Perpetual Calendar, reference 2585-1418-53. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down solid case back, and screw-down round chronograph pushbuttons and winding crown. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case back, stepped rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. It has correctors for the date on the left side of the band. The dial is white enamel with applied faceted gold baton hour index markers, a Roman numeral VI at 6 o'clock, and an outer minute/one-fifth second scale with luminous dots on the hours. The hands are skeletonized with luminous tips, and there is a center sweep chronograph hand with a skeletonized red pointer tip. There is a subsidiary dial for the month including a leap year indicator at 12 o'clock. A dial for the date and a 30-minute chronograph register is at 3 o'clock, a 12-hour register combined with the day is at 9 o'clock, and the moon phase dial is at 6 o'clock. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 80 meters/250 feet. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber F5585 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and oeil de perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
