This is a stainless-steel Vacheron & Constantin Overseas Chronograph 49140/423A-8886. It has an integral stainless-steel bracelet with a double deployment safety clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back secured with 8 screws with a high relief engraving of the Overseas windjammer logo and "VACHERON & CONSTANTIN – 15ATM – GENEVE." There is a screw-down triple gasket and case-protected winding crown and chronograph buttons. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, hooded lugs, bracelet, and stylized rounded bezel with flanges fashioned after the Vacheron logo (the Maltese cross) are polished/brushed. The dial is textured black with luminous pointed steel baton hands and faceted applied luminous Arabic numeral hour index markers. It has a white perimeter minute/second track and a center sweep second hand with a wedge-shaped counterbalance. There is a large double disk date aperture window at the 12 o'clock position, and black steel-ringed subsidiary dials for the constant small running seconds at 6 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 150 meters/500 feet, and it has a 30-hour power reserve at full wind. The movement is anti-magnetic, and the 12.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Vacheron & Constantin Overseas Chronograph 49140/423A-8886 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber 1137 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, an index regulator, and an 18K yellow gold rotor.
