There is a pull out octagonal winding crown set with a sapphire cabochon, and it has a solid case back secured with 8 screws, 4 screws on the case band, and engraved with "CARTIER – AUTOMATIC - WATER RESISTANT," a serial number, and hallmarks. The 45mm by 26.5mm solid curved two-body rectangular case, curved lugs, and rounded curved bezel, are polished. The dial is ivory with a guilloche wave pattern, black Roman numeral hour markers with the secret signature on the VII, and blued Cartier epee hands. It has a blued center sweep second hand, and an inner railroad-style minute/second scale. A date aperture window is at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Tank Americaine Large Size W2603156 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier 2000 (base ETA) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 20 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance.
