This is a stainless steel Breitling Headwind Day Date A45355. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel Breitling tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti- reflective coatings. There is a protected screw down domed winding crown, screw down solid case back engraved around the perimeter with "CHRONOMETRE OFFICIAELLEMENT CERTIFIE-MANUFACTURE EN SUISSE ETANCHE-500M," and in the recessed center medallion is "BREITLING 1884," with a serial number and the wings and anchor logo. The 43.7mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The unidirectional rotating 60-minute bezel has engraved baton minute divisions, larger baton indices and screws, and four riders with Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, with a luminous dot/triangle at 12 o'clock. The dial is champagne with applied faceted baton hour markers with luminous dots around a black outer minute/second chapter ring with perimeter Arabic numerals to 100 every five minutes/seconds. It includes polished baton hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep seconds hand with a Breitling logo counter balance and a luminous arrow pointer, and there is a steel rimmed quickset date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. There is an arched aperture window between 11 and 1 o'clock for the day in English. It's water resistant to 500 meters/1650 feet, and the 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, bi-directional winding, an Incabloc shock absorber mechanism, an Etachron regulator system, and a Swiss lever escapement. It has a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
