It has round "pushrod" style chronograph push buttons, a knurled screw down, double O-ring sealed winding crown, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back. The dial is black with distinctive raised luminous yellow Arabic numeral hour markers, around a luminous yellow minute/one-fifth second scale. It has distinctive Ernst Benz polished "syringe" steel hands with luminous inserts, and there is a yellow center sweep seconds chronograph hand. Around the perimeter flange is a luminous white tachymeter ring to 500 UPH, and there is a quick set white-rimmed twin day and date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. There are three recessed black subsidiary dials with luminous white markers, Arabic numerals, and white indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock, a running small seconds register with a yellow hand at 9 o'clock, and there is a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind. The 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ernst Benz Chronoscope GC1010117A has a mechanical automatic ETA/Valjoux 7750 movement. It's constructed with 25 jewels, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and a monometallic Glucydur balance. It includes a Nivarox Alloy Hairspring, a sunray-finished rotor, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
