This is a stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Gran'Sport Chronograph, 295.8.59. It has rubber strap with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The chronograph on the reverse side has rectangular pushbuttons, and a push/pull winding crown. The 28mm by 41mm solid art deco tonneau shaped three-body case, bezel, and lugs are polished. The dial is guilloche black in a tiled pattern with tritium-coated Arabic numeral hour markers. There is a trapezoid date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position, and the lozenge hands are tritium-coated. There is a central red sweep second hand, and a chronograph start/stop display at 5 o'clock. The reverse dial is a circular brick guilloche pattern, and it has retrograde 60 and 30-minute register ring subsidiary dials. It has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/150 feet. The 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 859 movement is rhodium-plated, with "fausses-côtes" embellishment. It's constructed with 38 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring.
