The silver guilloche dial has a double window big date aperture at 7 o'clock, a small seconds subsidiary dial between 4 and 6 o'clock, and a day/night hemispherical aperture at 2 o'clock. It has blued steel epee hands, and black painted Arabic numeral hour markers on a plain outer reserve. The reverse dial is black with luminous Arabic hour numerals, and an aperture for the GMT “+ Est” or “- Ouest” indication at 7 o'clock. There is an aperture for the day/night indication at 5, and a power reserve indicator between 1 and 2 o'clock. It has luminous lozenge hands, and the hours are adjusted by the two rectangular push buttons on the band. The manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 878 movement is rhodium-plated, with an 8-day going and 35 jewels. It has twin barrels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism.
