More about Yacht-Master Platinum Bezel (2009)

This is a stainless steel/platinum Rolex Yacht Master Oyster Perpetual Date, 16622. It has an integral stainless steel Oyster lock bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid screwed-down case back, and a bidirectional rotating frosted platinum bezel with raised Arabic numeral dive time minutes. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case and bracelet are polished/brushed, with a protected screwed down Triplock winding crown. The dial is grained platinum with luminous dot, baton, and triangle hour markers, an outer minute track, A central red sweep seconds hand, and luminous white gold skeleton hands. An aperture window for the date with a Cyclops magnifier bubble is at the 3 o'clock position. It includes a Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) certification. It's water resistant to 100 meters/300 feet, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3135 movement is rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism. This is an M Series watch produced in 2009.
