More about Timezone White

This is a stainless steel Blancpain Leman Time Zone 2160-1127-53. It has a composite rubber strap with a stainless steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down winding crown, and a solid screw-down case back engraved with a serial number. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lapidated lugs, and stepped rounded bezel are polished, with "BLANCAPAIN" engraved on the left-side case band. The dial is white with applied faceted steel baton hour markers and green luminous applied dots around a perimeter minute scale. It has skeletonized epee hands with luminous arrow tips, and there is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. A nocturnal/diurnal hemispherical display is at 9 o'clock, and the recessed second time zone subsidiary dial is at 12 o'clock with applied steel Roman numerals at the quarter hours. There is a recessed running seconds register at 6 o'clock, and it has a 100-hour power reserve at full wind. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Leman Time Zone 2160-1127-53 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber 5L60 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 30 jewels, 253 components, twin mainspring barrels mounted in series, and a shock absorber device. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a Glucydur free-sprung monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor. The Blancpain Leman Time Zone 2160-1127-53 was introduced in 2008 at the SIHH show in Switzerland.
