The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied steel dart and luminous dot hour markers, an applied steel Arabic numeral at 6 o'clock, and skeletal dauphine hands with luminous inserts. There is an outer minute/seconds track, and a center sweep seconds dial. There are three inset subsidiary dials for the days of the month at 9 o'clock, the days of the week at three o'clock, and the months are at 12 o'clock with a small date aperture included. It has a sector for the age of the moon and the moon phases at 6 o'clock. A red safety device Indicates that it is unsafe to adjust the calendar between 10pm-3am. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and it has a power reserve of 40-hours at full wind. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 889/440/2 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and oeil de perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 50 jewels, 305 parts, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 6 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a 22K gold rotor segment, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
