This is an 18K white gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, 116509. It has an integral 18K white gold three-link Oyster bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid screwed-down case back and chronograph pushbuttons, and the crown guard protects the Triplock winding crown. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, bracelet, and flat bezel with a tachometer graduation to 400 units per hour, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with luminous applied black Arabic numeral hour markers, small luminous baton indexes at 3 and 9 o'clock, luminous black baton hands, a red center chronograph hand, and an outer minute/seconds track. There is a subsidiary dial for the small seconds at 6 o'clock, a 12-hour register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at 3 o'clock, all inset with white rims. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 4130 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 44 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight- line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, and a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. It has Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism.
