The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped bezel, and straight lugs are polished. It has a screwed-down sapphire display case back and screwed-down crowns, with the crown at 2 o'clock adjusting the time, and the crown at 4 setting the alarm functions. A screwed-down pusher at 8 o'clock turns the alarm on and off. The dial is silver opaline with military-style Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous dots, and skeleton épée hands with luminous inserts in the tips. There is a power reserve sector at the 12 o'clock position, an alarm on/off indicator at 1, and a date aperture window between 4 and 5. An alarm time subsidiary dial is at 3 o'clock, and there is a 24-hour dial for the second time zone at 9. A small seconds indicator is at 6 o'clock, and an alarm power reserve indicator sector is between 10 and 12. It includes a power reserve of 40-hours at full wind, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 13.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber 1241 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 38 jewels, 407 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It has a single hammer for the alarm, and an18K gold rotor. "Reveil" references the wake-up call of the French military, (and now other militaries including the United States), and signifies the Blancpain alarm watches.
