This is an 18k yellow gold Breguet Tonneau Manual Wind 3490BA/12/274. It has a leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a pull out gold winding crown with a sapphire cabachon, and the case back is solid, secured with 8 screws, and it's engraved with "BREGUET – REF 3490." The 29mm by 40mm (including lugs) solid tonneau-shaped three-body case, straight lugs with screwed bars, reeded case band, and rounded bezel are polished. The dial is silver guilloche with black Roman numeral hour markers on a plain reserve, a silver-rimmed minute circle, and it has blued Breguet hands. A running seconds subsidiary dial with a plain silver rim is superimposed on the time dial at the 6 o'clock position. The 6.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breguet Tonneau Manual Wind 3490BA/12/274 has a manual winding Breguet caliber 818/5 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator.
