More about Master Geo Steel Silver Dial
This is a stainless steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Master World Geographic 142.8.92. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The crown at 3 o'clock sets the time of the two time zones, and the crown at 10 o'clock on the left-side case band chooses the second city. It has a corrector for the date at 2 o'clock on the right-side case band. The solid case back is secured with 4 screws, it has the Master Control logo circle in a gold tone, and it's engraved with "JAEGER-LECOULTRE – 5 ATM," and a serial number. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is two-tone silver with applied faceted steel dart hour markers in a plain reserve, an outer black minute/second scale. It has steel Alpha hands with luminous fill, a center sweep seconds hand, and there is a 45-hour power reserve arched dial at 10 o'clock with a blue indicator hand. It has a second time zone 12-hour subsidiary dial with a blue day/night indicator and hand at 6 o'clock, and there is another arched aperture at 6 o'clock showing the outer revolving disc indicating the names of 24 world cities. It has a 43-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 11.mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger-LeCoultre Master World Geographic 142.8.92 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 939 movement that's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 34 jewels, 310 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a shock absorber device, a monometallic balance with timing screws, and a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring. There is a 22k gold rotor segment, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master World Geographic 142.8.92 was first introduced in 1990. The gold medallion on the case back signifies that It has passed the six-week, 1000-hour series of Master Control tests.
