The dial is black with applied steel Arabic numeral and baton hour index markers, luminous dot minute/seconds markers, and skeletonized steel epee hands. It includes a centered sweep second hand, and the big date appears in twin window apertures at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet), and it has a 72-hour power reserve at full wind. The 11.5 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Leman Aqualung Big Date 2850B-1130A-64B has a mechanical self-winding automatic Blancpain caliber 6950 movement that's rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 35 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a double barrel. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Blancpain Leman Aqualung Big Date 2850B-1130A-64B was introduced in the 2000's in an edition of 2005 examples. Leman is the name for Lake Geneva in French.
