This is a platinum Patek Philippe vintage tonneau-shaped, contemporary style watch with a leather strap and matching platinum tang buckle. The dial is silver with diamond hour markers and a small seconds dial at 6 O'clock, and there is rectangular outer minute track. It has a solid two-body brushed and polished art deco/modern case that is gently cambered. It was constructed with 18 jewels and a manual winding calibre 838.929 movement with a lever escapement. This was made c. 1947 and was a post-war precursor to the tonneau-shaped Gondolo line initiated by Patek in 1993.
