More about 5035J

This is an 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5035J. It has a leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There are 2 correctors for the calendar at 2 and 4 o'clock on the right case band, and there is another at the 10 o'clock position on the left case band. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back, with a push/pull winding crown. The 37mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is black with applied yellow gold Roman numeral hour markers with luminous inserts, and luminous yellow gold feuille hour and minute hands. There is a center sweep seconds hand and an outer railroad style minute/second scale. There is a date aperture window at 6 o'clock, and there are three black subsidiary dials with gold markings, including a day register at 9 o'clock, a 24-hour dial at 6 o'clock, and there is a month indicator at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 25 meters/85 feet, and it has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind. The 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5035J has a mechanical automatic self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 315-198 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark as well as the Patek Philippe seal. It's constructed with 35 jewels, 316 components, and a shock absorber device. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic Gyromax balance, and a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring. It has a 21K gold rotor engraved with the Patek Calatrava emblem. The Patek Phillppe 5035 was the first annual calendar wristwatch; this was a complication that was invented and patented by Patek. It was initially introduced in 1996.
