More about Omega Constellation Black Dial SS/SS

This is a stainless steel Omega Constellation '95 1502.30.00. It has an integral Omega stainless steel link bracelet, and a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. There is a screw-down winding crown with a polished domed tip, and a snap on solid case back with a central medallion engraved with the Constellation observatory logo underneath an 8-star constellation. The 35mm diameter solid two-body case, straight lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is black with applied faceted steel baton hour markers, and luminous dot indices, around a perimeter minute/second scale. It has steel dauphine hands with luminous inserts, and a steel center sweep second hand with a rectangular counter balance. There are two sets of twin "giraffe" claws at 9 and 3 o'clock, and a steel-rimmed rectangular date aperture window is at 3 o'clock. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/167 feet. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Constellation '95 1502.30.00 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Omega caliber 1120 movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 23 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Omega Constellation'95 1502.30.00 was introduced in 1995.
