This is a stainless steel IWC Pilot (Flieger) Chronograph IW371704. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a double deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has two round pushbuttons for the chronograph; the button at 2 o'clock starts and stops the chronograph, and the button at 4 o'clock re-sets it. The 42mm diameter solid two-body case, stepped bezel, and downturned lugs are polished; the solid screw down case back is engraved, "FLIEGERUHR - INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO." The dial is black with applied luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, and baton hour indexes around a minute/seconds track. There are three black subsidiary dials, including a running seconds sub dial at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute register is at 12 o'clock. It has luminous sword hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand. There are rectangular day and date aperture windows at the 3 o'clock position, and it's water resistant to 60 meters/200 feet, with a power reserve of 44 hours. The 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Pilot Chronograph IW371704 has an automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79320 movement that's rhodium plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has an anti-magnetic iron core, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, an index regulator, and a hacking seconds mechanism.
