The domed sapphire crystal back is specially shaped to view the edge of the rotor, and it's etched "SENATOR - SIXTIES – AUTOMATIC." The 39mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and stepped bezel are polished. The dial is black with gold baton hands with luminous inserts arched to fit the domed dial, a center sweep second hand, and applied steel baton indices with luminous dots, and luminous Arabic numeral hour markers at the quarter hours. There is a perimeter minute/second scale. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 9.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's rhodium-plated, with striped/ribbed fausses cotes decoration, and some hand engraved patterns with beveled component edges.
