It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a single fold deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has round chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown, and there is a push button at 10 o'clock for an intermediate timing. It has a screw down solid case back engraved with "INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. – SCHAFFHAUSEN – CHRONO RATTRAPANTE." The 43mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, bracelet, and thin flat bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is rhodium silver with applied faceted luminous baton hour markers around a perimeter black minute/fraction-of-a-second scale with luminous white Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It includes silver-toned baton hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep chronograph seconds hand with a luminous arrow tip, and there is a double aperture window at 3 o'clock for the day and date. It has a recessed silver running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and there are twin slightly larger recessed silver subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals, markers, and steel indicator hands. It has a 44-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 120 meters/400 feet. The 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC GST Chronograph Rattrapante 371508 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79230 (base ETA-Valjoux 7750) split-second chronograph movement is rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 29 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a soft iron inner core that's anti-magnetic, and a self-compensating flat balance spring that's adjusted to 5 positions. It has an index regulator, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
