It has an integral stainless steel bracelet with a double folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating. It has a hexagonal pull out winding crown set with a sapphire cabochon, and there is a solid case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved with "CARTIER – AUTOMATIC – WATER RESISTANT – STAINLESS STEEL," and a serial number. The 28mm by 32mm solid two-body gently curved case, hooded lugs, bracelet, and flat art deco style rectangular bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver guilloche with black Roman numeral hour markers, with the secret Cartier signature in the VII, around an inner square black minute/second scale. It has blued steel epee hands, a blue steel center sweep second hand, and there is a steel rimmed quickset date aperture at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier W51002Q3 Tank Francaise automatic has a mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier caliber 120 (ETA 2892-1) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 20 jewels, a monometallic balance, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. It has a Glucydur balance wheel, and the bi-directional self-winding ball-bearing rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
