More about Aquatimer DEEP TWO SS / Rubber 46MM
This is a stainless steel IWC Aquatimer Deep Two, IW354702. It has a quick-change strap system with easily interchangeable, tactical ballistic waterproof nylon Velcro sport strap with a stainless steel IWC buckle, and a scratch resistant domed sapphire crystal with non-reflective coating on both sides. The 46mm diameter solid two-body case and downturned lugs are polished, and there is a unidirectional rotating diving bezel with an outer ring for decompression times and a luminous, blue fifteen-minute gauge. The bezel has an inset 4mm. wide sapphire-glass ring, with the lower surface coated with luminescent Super-LumiNova®. The pressure-metering system is housed in a large second protected crown. The crown and case back are screwed down, providing a water resistance of 120 meters; the crown at 9 o'clock adjusts the diving depth, and the crown at 8 resets it. The dial is black with red luminous baton hands and applied luminous baton hour markers. A subsidiary seconds arc is at 6 o'clock, and the date aperture is at 3. The depth Gauge at 12 o'clock has an indicator for current depth, and it's water resistant down to 50 meters/165 feet. There is a 42-hour power reserve, and the 15.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic IWC Calibre 30110 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. There is a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer, and central hacking seconds. The Aquatimer collection was introduced in 1967. The Aquatimer Deep Two debuted in 2009, upgraded to the current Deep Three generation.
