This is a stainless steel Vacheron & Constantin Royal Eagle Chronograph, 49145/000A/8970. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back secured with 8 screws, and rectangular chronograph pushbuttons. The 36mm by 50mm solid three-body case, fluted art deco-style lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is cream with black painted art deco Arabic numeral hour markers, blued steel lozenge hands with luminous inserts, center chronograph hand, a minute/second outer track, and a date aperture double window at the 12 o'clock position. There is a constant seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber 1137 is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor.
