This is an 18K rose gold Vacheron & Constantin Les Historiques 1912, 37001/000R-8636. It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold tang buckle with the distinctive Maltese cross shape, the logo of the company. The curved tonneau-shaped, solid two-body case is polished with a "bombe" sapphire crystal, and a case back with eight screws. It has hinged mobile lugs, and screwed bars. The dial is matte silver with tumbling black painted Arabic numeral hour marker indexes and feuille black hands. It's water resistant to 30 meters, and the dial is signed "Vacheron Constantin, Geneve," and "Vacheron Constantin 1912" on the case back. The movement is also signed. The manual winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber1132 movement is rhodium-plated with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 20 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic glucydur balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. This rose gold edition is limited to 1912 Pieces, and debuted in the 1990's.
