More about Senator Panorama Date SS

This is a stainless steel Glashutte Original Senator Panorama Date, 100-03-13-02-04. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel double-fold over buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The solid 40.1mm diameter three-body case, stepped bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. It has a transparent sapphire crystal display case back that's secured with 5 screws. The dial is silver with applied steel baton index hour markers, luminescent dauphine hands, an outer minute/second track, and a center sweep seconds hand. There is a two-disc panorama big date aperture window located at the 4 o'clock position, and it has a power reserve of 55 hours. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 11.3mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Glashutte Original caliber 100-03 movement is striped and ribbed Glasshutte three-quarter plate with a rhodium finish and fausses cotes embellishment, and some hand engraved designs and beveled component edges. It's constructed with 51 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a skeletonized rotor with a 21K gold oscillation weight. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. There is a swan-neck regulator, a 21K gold segment rotor, and a hacking seconds mechanism. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
