This is an AISI 316L stainless steel Panerai Luminor GMT, PAM00244. It has a rubber strap with a stainless steel double-fold over deployant buckle, and a domed scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, screw-down solid case back, downturned lugs, and angled round bezel are polished/brushed. It has the patented Panerai crown with security lever for winding the watch even under water, ensuring maximum water protection up to 300m through an almost impregnable seal. The dial is black with luminous baton hands and hour index markers, and Arabic numerals at the half hours. There is a 24-hour outer rail with Arabic numeral every two hours, and a central arrow-tipped hand to indicate the second time zone. It has a small constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 9 o'clock position, and a rectangular date aperture window at 3 o'clock. It includes Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) certification, and it's water resistant to 300 meters/ 1000 feet. It has a 42-hour power reserve, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP VIII movement is rhodium plated with Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges. It's constructed with 21 jewels, and a Glucydur® monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions. It includes an Incabloc® anti-shock mechanism, a Panerai personalized oscillating weight, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The PAM 244 GMT was produced from 2006 until 2013. Its OP VIII movement is based on the standard Valjoux caliber 7750 engine without the chronograph module and day wheel, but with the added GMT functionality.
