The dial is white with applied gold baton hour markers; a minute/seconds outer track, black baton hands, and a central sweep seconds hand. There is a date window aperture at 3 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). There is a 42-hour power reserve, and the 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding IWC caliber 30110 movement is gilt brass, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 23 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It includes a micrometer regulator, a central hacking seconds mechanism, and the mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
