It has a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved "LEMAN," and an edition number. The 40mm diameter round two-body solid case, straight lugs, bracelet, and stepped convex bezel, are brushed. The dial is black with applied luminous steel rectangular hour indices, applied Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o'clock, and there is a white perimeter luminous minute/second scale. There is a double aperture Big Date window at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and the ultra-thin 11.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Aqualung Big Date 2850B-1130A-71 has a mechanical automatic Blancpain caliber 6950 movement that's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 35 jewels, 285 components, a straight-line lever escapement, a shock absorber system, double spring barrels, a monometallic balance adjusted for 6 positions and temperature, and a silicon balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Blancpain Aqualung Big Date 2850B-1130A-71 is the watch worn by Vladamir Putin, and it was introduced in a limited edition of only 2005 examples. For a 100-meter water resistant Blancpain, this is ultra-thin at 11.4mm.
